| Multiple BIS, BISS Ch. Mauna Kea's Heart's Afire (Markie) is the grand-dam of the household at 12 years old. She was the first true "winner" (although not the first champion by any means). Owner handled to her championship (as are most of our dogs) and to multiple group wins, she embarked on an incredible journey that included #1 Kuvasz (all breed points), four all breed Best in Shows, two Westminster Best of Breed wins and a Westminster Working Group 4 (second time ever for a Kuvasz). Three National Specialty Award of Merits followed and finally her career was capped with a glorious National Specialty Best of Breed win from the Veterans class at age 9 ½. Markie is fully retired and living a much deserved life of relaxation as our main house dog. Markie recently was asked to pose for the cover of a catalog with one of her grandpuppies. | Multiple BIS, BISS Ch. Mauna-Ederra's Double Image OAJ, NA, CGC, VPA, COAA (Image) is a Markie daughter and had a remarkable career following in her mother's footsteps. She was a five time all breed Best in Show winner, won Best of Breed at Westminster 3 times and became the third ever Kuvasz to place in the Working Group at Westminster (also a Group 4). She won an Award of Merit at the 2000 National Specialty and followed with the National Specialty Best of Breed win in 2001. Image has now embarked on a career in Agility and lives with her co-owners in Chicago where she continues to wow the crowds at the agility trials. She and Markie are the breed's only mother-daughter BIS, BISS and Westminster Group Placers. Image is a daily visitor to her owner’s business “Integrative Pet Care” where she can be found working out on the treadmill or swimming in the therapy pool. Visit her at www.integrativepetcare.com |

| Ch. Mauna-Ederra's Double Trouble (Trouble) may not have had the illustrious career of her full littermate Image but she is a beauty and finished her championship at an early age. | Ch. Double Ring Mauna Kea On A Whim (Whim) was purchased as a pup in 1999 from Double Ring Kuvasz. The goal was to infuse some new blood into the lines of Mauna Kea and Whim brings with her a super white wavy coat and dark pigmentation. Whim has been bred twice (to Shiraz) and produced large litters of very sound and typey pups. She lives with one of her co-owners locally. Whim will be bred again in the fall of 2006. |

| Ch. Mauna
Kea's Timely Reward (Bonus) is one of
the offspring of Shiraz and Trouble. A
tight line breeding, this breeding doubled
up on Markie and Major (Ch. Ederra's Canis

championship at 15 months in five show
weekends from the Bred-By Exhibitor class
and has grown into a beautiful young adult
with a very correct headpiece. She is very
athletic, carries plentiful bone and coat
and has the look and attitude that
promises a great future in the show
ring. |
