Lyric was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the 2011 Kuvasz Club of America National Specialty – qualifying for 2012 and 2013 for the prestigious Crufts dog show in England.
Shiraz has had a super year in 2006 with “appearances” at Westminster and the Kuvasz Club of America National Specialty. Westminster 2006 – Shiraz claimed the Best of Opposite Sex Award for the second year in a row. The show was more memorable that year because of the blizzard that hit shortly after we arrived in town. 2 ½ feet of snow didn’t slow down Shiraz one bit as he explored the big city. Just prior to leaving for New York we had reporters helping us load the van and taking footage for a news clip that aired on our local CBS station.
Markie became a cover girl in 2005 for the Veterinary Apparel Company – she graced the cover of their winter 2006 catalog with her grandpuppy and their spring issue featured the same grandpuppy on the back cover
Image continues winning top finishes in her agility events (including some perfect scores!). She is working toward her Master Agility title and has earned her first MACH points. She earned the distinct honor of being the first and only Kuvasz to be eligible and invited to represent her breed at the AKC Agility Invitational show held in Long Beach, CA in December 2007 and December 2008.
