Litters/Pups

1
2
We whelp an average of 1-2 litters per year. Sometimes these litters are whelped with a co-owner and the pups come to live with us from the time they're weaned until they go to their new homes. We take care in choosing the right stud for the right dam, keeping in mind our ultimate mission and goal of producing healthy, confident and happy Kuvasz.

"Trouble"

Ch. Mauna-Ederra's Double Trouble
("Trouble") will be bred in Fall 2006

To Be Announced

Trouble is a littermate to Image (2001's #1 Kuvasz) and a daughter of Markie.  She has an outstanding temperament, good substance, coat and overall Kuvasz type along with effortless movement and exceptional beauty.  She finished her championship at an early age and has just been hanging out with her family since then.  She is a wonderful mother who has produced two beautiful litters of pups with excellent temperaments.

"Whim"

Ch. Double Ring Mauna Kea's
On A Whim (Whim) will be bred in Fall 2006

Whim is currently interviewing potential mates...
Whim is a sweet girl with fluid movement, dark pigment and a very white wavy coat. Her hips are OFA good and she has elbow, patella and eye clearances.

Trouble and Whim will be bred in the fall of 2006.  We are still searching for their perfect matches.  We are currently accepting reservations for show, working and companion pups from these upcoming breedings.

Reservations on puppies are held with a deposit and upon completion of a Potential Puppy Buyer Questionnaire (use e-mail link at left to ask for one to be emailed to you). Prices are $900 for pet/companion pups and $1500 for show potential/breeding stock pups. All Mauna Kea puppies come with a contract guaranteeing their health. Pet/companion puppies are sold on a limited AKC registration and should be spayed/neutered. A $200 deposit will hold your reservation on a pup from a future breeding.
